First Pig Tails

I put pig tails in Peanut's hair today. I thought she looked pretty cute. She really looked like a little girl, my baby's growing up.

Future Photographer

It was very quiet for a LONG time, and CJ was playing in the back room. (That usually means trouble). When he came back to the front room where I was resting he said, "Mommy I take pictures!" Then I looked on my camera, which I had left in the room he was playing in (stupid), it was filled with dozens of random pictures he had taken. I could not help but laugh when I saw them. Here are a few of them.

Seal Beach Car Show

Today we drove up to Seal Beach because I bought a double jogger off Craig's List from a fireman there.  It was a fun day because there was a huge car show going on, only a block from the station, on main street.

Here is a Big Daddy Roth car.  He actually became Mormon later on in his life.
CJ and M hanging out in their new stroller listening to the rock-a-billy band.
We went for a walk on the Seal Beach pier.  We could see Long Beach so clear today.  The weather was perfect.

Swimming

Tonight we went over to the Baltzer's house and went swimming.  We had so much fun with our waterproof camera.  I think Miss B was a little shocked about going under water, but she never cried once.  Maybe she will be a little fish like her brother.
Miss B and Mommy under water.  We forgot her swimsuit, sorry M.  She had her pink Mermaid swim diaper on though.  She still looked beautiful.
CJ said to me.  Mommy take a picture, so I did, and this picture is so cute of CJ, Amber, and Saxon.
Here is Daddy with his little girl having pizza.  She was so hungry that night, she probably ate about three slices!

Lake Park

Today I took the kids to Lake park for a picnic. I love this beautiful park. It is so big and open for the kids to run and play, and it has tons of big trees to sit under.

Happy kids.

Phantom of the Opera

Johnny surprised me tonight and took me to see The Phantom of the Opera. I've always wanted to see it since I was a little girl.  He took me to the Crab Cooker for dinner, then we went shopping at south coast plaza.  I had NO idea what he was up to.  I was excited when we started walking towards the Performing arts Center, but I still had no clue what we were going to see.  When I saw the sign for Phantom I was so excited!  Then it got even better because our seats were amazing.  We were in the THIRD row.  I could see the detail of the phantom's face.

Beach Chairs

I brought some mini beach chairs down to Sano today and the little munchkins had so much fun sitting in them. I had to take some pictures because they were so cute!

CJ, Saxon, and Miss B all enjoying a day at the beach.

Happy Faces in the Sand

Today we took the family to Sano.  We were having so much fun drawing in the sand.  CJ drew this in the sand using a rock.  He did it all by himself!  I was so impressed.

Fun in HB

We've been having so much fun in HB this past week.

Here we are at park day with all of our friends on the swings.

Miss B and Meredith swinging.

Out to lunch with all our buddies. CJ loves all of his friends. They all had so much fun running around together.

All the girls with their girls.

My friend Rachael and I went to HB Top Nails and got pedicures.  I love this place!

Miss B and CJ at the beach.

Moms and babies at 9th street.

There were so many lady bugs at the beach that day. CJ loved watching them crawl all over him.

It was super low tide that day at the beach, so there was a nice little pool of water for the kids to splash around in.

Even my good friend Jackie was visiting from Hawaii.

FAT Lip

JB played softball last night. He came back looking like this. He pitched a ball and the guy blasted it straight back at his face. He did not even have time to react. He ended up with 4 stitches on his bottom lip. Have you ever seen bigger lips? I haven't.

Dancing With The Stars

My sweet friend Briana got Dancing with the Stars tickets, she applied way before the season started. I was so lucky that she invited me. We had so much fun. It was cool to see all the celebrities up close and in person. We had great seats too. We were on the floor and only 5 rows back. We had such a great night.

We were all so sad to see Julianne go. She was our favorite.

Briana, Amber and I. Briana's sister came too. We all had a wonderful girls night out!

Miss B Walks!

Miss B is finally walking! She is 15 months old and I thought it never would happen.  She is pretty good, if she falls down she can stand up and start walking again.  I'm so proud of you peanut!

New Bed

JB and I put this new toddler bed in CJ's room today. I can't believe he actually fell asleep in it. He's even holding his lightsaber.

Later that night... all turned around.

My good friend Amber made him this quilt when he was a baby. It matched his bumper. We got the material in Hawaii. I love the fabric because it has little surfers, boats, cars, and ukuleles on it.

We Will Miss You Nonnie

Our beloved Nonnie passed away tonight (Johnny's grandma). We will miss her so much. She was 98. Her husband passed on about 30 years ago, so I bet she is excited to see him, along with her brothers and sisters who have died. It will be an exciting reunion for her I'm sure.

CJ always had a special bond with Nonnie. He loved her so much. I was always afraid that he was going to knock her over with his big hugs.

Nonnie and Miss B.

Nonnie on Halloween.

Every time we would leave her house she would stand in the door way just like this and wave goodbye. Bye Nonnie, we will miss you!
