Water Babies and Wild Rivers

The kids have been swimming a lot over at the Baltzer's pool lately, and they are getting quite comfortable in the water. M is even starting to swim a little bit back and forth between me and Amber.  I love how she is so smiley under water.

Here is a little video clip of her swimming. Notice the big grin.

Gotta love the big toothless grin!
Saturday we went to Wild Rivers with my mom and some friends.  The kids had a blast.  M was not so sure about the water slides though.  (She has barely mastered the ones at the park).  C monster really had a great time, though he was a little nervous at first.
This picture cracks me up.  C's feet are above his head, M has a look of terror as she is about to hit the cold water, and I am laughing so hard because I was going a lot faster than I was expecting.
This picture is also really funny.  C was turned around backwards the second half of the ride, he was not too stoked on that, and poor M was in my lap getting blasted by a ton of water.  No wonder she was not too excited about the water slides, and of course JB beat us by a mile.
We had such a great time as a family at wild Rivers.  Thanks Mom for the tickets.  We definitelyy want to go again next summer.

It's a GIRL

I had an ultrasound this morning to find out the sex of the baby, and found out that it was a girl!  I I am in trouble.  I kind of had a feeling that I was because I felt the same way this pregnancy as I did with Miss B.  I never had a sister, so I am excited for M to have a best friend like that.

Erin Eichelburger's baby Shower

I had such a great time at Erin's baby shower.  It was a really fun reunion with all the girls I grew up with in San Clemente.   From left to right Brooke Webber, Chelsea (Webber) Schilling, Erin (Harline) Eichelburger, Taylor Jepson, Cori (Jepson), Me, Jenny (Greiner) Whitesides, and Kristin (Baurus) Bryant and baby Jake.

Irvine Regional Park

We spent the day at the Irvine Regional Park. It was our first time and we definitely will go again. There was a nice little zoo that only cost 2 dollars to get in, there was play grounds, there was a duck pond, there was a little train ride, and there is going to be a pumpkin patch starting this weekend. My kids loved it and are still talking about it.

Checking out the bears at the zoo.
feeding the goats at the petting zoo.  Happy Saxon.
All the little buddies on the train.
Miss B standing by the engine.  She loved the train!

21 Months Old!

I just can't believe that my baby girl is already 21 months old.  She will be 2 years old before I know it.  Some of the things I love about her is she is very loving and affectionate. She is always giving hugs and kisses. She is a little mommy and is constantly carrying her baby around. She is such a talker and every day she says something new. She is always imitating her older brother and loves to follow him around. She does tricks when you ask her to. Another thing I love about her is that she is a little water baby. The other day I was dressing her in the morning and she was so upset because I would not let her put on her swim suit (we were in a huge hurry to get out of the house).  She is such a fun girl who always keeps me on my toes.  I don't know what my life would be without her.

Here she is playing at the baby beach in Dana Point.
Here she is imitating her brother, she loves to skateboard with him.
Doing her "trick" with big brother.
Here she is snuggling with Daddy.  Sucking on her left arm is also one of her little quirks too.
