Thanksgiving 2008

For Thanksgiving we went to Mike and Tami's house.  They have a house about 1 hour from JB's parent's River house.  We had such a great time with all the cousins.

The trampoline was a big hit.
The crafts for the kids were fun too.
Miss B flying high with daddy on the trampoline.
Showing off our baby bumps.  I am due a few days before Sarah.
Before dinner we went on a walk to the river, which was only a short distance away.
Walking down the path to the river.
Some of our crew.  There were still a couple at the house cooking dinner.
The Family.
It was the most beautiful evening. It was so clear and calm.
Loving the bike.  She thought she was such a big girl.
The girls.
The kids.  Notice CJ the pirate.
The spread.
The boys chowing down on the yummy dinner.
After eating a huge dinner the kids went swimming.  Of course they waited 30 minutes for their food to digest.  Poor Jeff was the only adult in the hot tub with them.
The day after Thanksgiving was beautiful too.  Wyatt and CJ had so much fun playing in the water together.

Thanksgiving Vacation

We are up at the Colorado River for our Thanksgiving vacation.  We are having such a fun time. This morning we went on the four wheelers, and in the afternoon we went on the boat.

The boys getting ready to go.  I love that Wyatt was wearing his life vest and wetsuit with his motorcycle helmet.  He was ready for all the activities of the day!
Watching from the golf cart was so cool for CJ.

Up above the river, we were loving the view.

The girls giving loves.  M loves having a cousin her same age.
M was excited to go for a boat ride.  She said "Weeeee" when it took off.
Wyatt ready to go surf behind the boat.  He had been ready since 10 AM.

Twilight the Movie

Last night I went to see the movie Twilight.  It was so much fun.  We went with JB's parents, Tammy, Deron and Cora.  I really enjoyed the movie.  I was not expecting to like it because I never like the movies made from books.  I actually really liked it though.  I thought all the acting was really good.

JB's Family Photo Shoot

I just finished helping JB with the Iverson family photo shoot 30 minutes ago. He is the best photographer. These photos are not edited or retouched, and they look amazing. He is the best at lighting his subjects. This family was super cute, they came up from San Clemente.

JB still has a few openings if you are interested in family photos for Christmas.

Best Beach Day Ever!

Saturday we went down to T-Street. It was the best beach day all year. The weather was probably about 83 degrees.  The only thing that could have made this day better for me is if I could have surfed. The waves were glassy and peaky all day long.  My parents came down along with my brothers and their wives.  CJ and M's little cousins were there too.

M with her baby.  She is such a little mommy.  She carried her doll around all day long.
The boys had so much fun pushing these trucks around all day.

The boys ran and jumped into this pool of water about 50 times.
Our crew.  From top left, Johnny, Julie, Steve, Jessie, middle row, Marlene, Aaron, David, Stephanie, bottom row, Rex, CJ, Lang, M, and Jett.

Chuck-E-Cheesen

Friday night my parents were up in Huntington Beach, so we all went to Chuck-e-Cheese. I have not taken my kids there for about a year. CJ and Miss B were in heaven. They loved going on all the rides. CJ loved the tractor and the roller coaster ride (you watch it on a TV screen), and M loved the teletubbies ride the best.  CJ loved picking out his prizes at the end too.  He chose a snake and a lollipop. Miss B picked out the same thing of course.

HB fun

I have so much fun when I am in Huntington Beach.   I can't wait to move back. I feel so blessed to have so many cool friends that have little ones my kid's age. I love park days on Tuesdays because I show up and there's always tons of moms and kids from the ward to hang out with.  It is funny how it has worked out that all the little boys are the same age, and all the little girls are the same age.

Here are the little buddies drawing with chalk.  This was only half of the kids, it was crazy how many there were that day.
On Friday we all went down to 9th street because Rachael was in town.  M had fun playing with Savi.  They were so cute, they looked like sisters.
He was so happy because he had so many little buddies to run around with.
Loving the 80 degree weather.  It was hotter than a summer day.
CJ had so much fun playing boats with Asher, even the water was a chili 58 degrees.

Crazy Sleeper

CJ is a very cute little boy when he sleeps.  I always find him in funny positions.  These are pictures of him sleeping over the last few months.  I decided to post them because they are so funny.

This first one is not that crazy, but I thought it was cute that he actually fell asleep outside on the lawn chair.
The Alligator got him.
Where is he?  That is a question I often ask when I go and check on him at night.
This shot reminded me a little of that scene from E.T.
I don't know how the ball stayed like that.  This shot was taken at Family Camp in Utah.  He fell off the bed one night.  Good thing he was not on top!
He must have fallen asleep saying his prayers.
He is sitting criss-cross-applesauce.
How is he sleeping like that?
Here he is between the side of the bed and the wall covered in pillows.
It is so ironic because as I am writing this post, CJ is not in his bed asleep, he is smashed in- between the bed and wall again on top of all the pillows.
