Mountain High

We went to Mountain High today with some friends and family. We took CJ tubing and he loved it. We also had fun playing in the snow. It was freezing cold, it was about 37 deg. We could never live in the snow because we are such wimps. CJ looked like the kid from a Christmas story. It was funny. We got home in enough time for JB to surf, that is one of the cool things about living in California. Snow in the morning, surf in the afternoon.

Christmas

I can't believe how fast Christmas came and went. We had a wonderful Christmas season. It was so much fun to spend it with friends and family that we love so much. Christmas Eve we spent at my parents home in SC. My brothers, and husband love to play guitar. Baby M especially enjoyed the music. CJ's favorite toy he got that night was a ball that you sit on and bounce. There is a picture of him unwrapping it. He was so excited to see what was in this huge round package. Christmas day we spent it with the B's. CJ loved spending the day with his fun, older cousins.

Some of the favorite gifts included the stroller and baby for baby sis, the Tonka garbage truck for CJ, and the remote control helicopter Dad. I loved the ipod touch that Santa surprised me with:)

Miss B. Turns 1!

Baby M turned 1 on December 17th. She had so much fun with her friends and family. She loved opening all of her presents and hanging out with all of her cousins and friends.









M had just as much interest in the wrapping paper and boxes as she did with the new toys she received.

Newport Beach Boat Parade

We had so much fun a couple of weeks ago when we went to the boat parade in Newport beach. We went on the Yakety Yak Yacht and cruised around the harbor.

Candy Cane Festival

In SC they had a candy cane festival with reindeer, snow, Santa, music, games, and crafts. CJ had so much fun sledding down the snow. It was his first time seeing it. Maile loved seeing the reindeer and the lama. But my kids did not want to get to close to Santa. The big red suit just terrifies them!

I've Been Tagged Too Many Times

I've been tagged about 50 times so here I go.

1. My favorite time of year is the summer. Everything about it I love. The heat, the long days, the 4th of July, the crazines of HB and going swimming at the pool and beach with my family.

2. I love HB. As a San Clemente local I never thought I would hear those words coming from my mouth. I love my neighborhood and being able to walk to the beach, the park, the city gym, and main street. I love how on Tuesday nights there is a street fair with trains, farmers market, balloons, guys that dress up like pirates, and live music.

3. I love the river. I love hanging with my family, and also surfing behind the boat.


4. I love Surfing. There is nothing that can describe the feeling when you catch a good wave. It is so relaxing, and rejuvenating, and such a thrill all at the same time. I have been surfing for 15 years (longer than I haven't been surfing), and don't ever plan on stopping.

5. I love good music. Going to concerts is so much fun. The other night I saw Mike Ness (from social distortion), I was so close I could touch him. I also recently discovered the Agrolites, they are such an amazing reggae band. But I also love when we play music in our home. I am so glad that I married such a talented husband who shares my love of music. We love to play the guitar and to sing to our children.

6. I love my family. My husband is a stud. He is my best friend and I love doing everything with him. I could not have found a better man, I use to not believe in soul mates until I found him. My little boy is so much fun and is always cracking me up, He is such a tough little guy and I love taking him surfing. My baby girl is 15 and 1/2 pounds of perfection, she makes me feel so loved. I can't believe that she will be 1 in a couple of weeks (I think the best things come in small packages)!
