Aloha Kontoes!

We had the treat of visiting with the Kontoes this weekend.  They live in Laie Hawaii, so we don't get to see them too often.  We had so much fun hanging with them at the beach on Saturday.  We loved meeting their cute little babies too.  This is probably one of the coolest families on earth.
Hanging with the babies at the beach.
Our little sunshine was so happy all day long.  We were at the beach all day.  Starting at 8:30 AM, we were at the US open.  She was such a trooper being hauled around in the bike trailer. She never complained.
Her first outside shower.  She loved it!

Doheney Days

Once again we took the fam down to doheney on Saturday.  This time miss B wanted to surf.  It is so cute how she wants to do everything her brother does.
This is about as close as we got to surfing.  This was pretty good for M though.  She is not my most adventurous child!

CJ is the tough one.  He got pounded SO HARD in the shore break because he would ride the wave all the way to the sand and not jump off in time.  He had an audience on the beach.  There was a group of strangers cheering for him.  He loved the attention.

When he saw this picture he said.  "Look, I'm in the barrel!"
Here is one of his may rides.

Briana

The other day my good friend Briana came to visit.  It was fun to catch up.  Baby girl sure loved hanging out with her.

Ruby's

For Family night we took the kids to Ruby's. It was the first time we have ever attempted to take all three kids to a restaurant by ourselves (no grandparents to help).  They were actually really well behaved.  We all had a really fun time.

After dinner the kids went on the carousal ride.  It was really cute to see them together.  They are such good little buddies.  CJ was so sweet to his little sister.  He was holding her hand and showing her where to go.

4 Months

Our little pumpkin is 4 months old. She is the BEST baby. She likes to grab her toes, growl, coo, smile and giggle. Any time we have to take her anywhere she is a perfect angel. They always say 3rd time's a charm. Well, she is definitely our little charm.

Surfer Boy

We took the family down to Doho in Dana Point.  CJ had so much fun surfing.  He surfed all day and kept asking me to take him out.  One time I was about to paddle out and he said to me, "Mommy I'm cranky because you are not taking me surfing right now."

Happy 7th Anniversary!

We finally got around to celebrating our wedding anniversary.  It has been 7 years.  We ate at the Macaroni Grill and it was delicious.  On our real anniversary we spent the day taking care of our sweet little M.  She had a fever of 104.6 we had to take her to the hospital and do blood tests and it was not fun.  I also had to take CJ to church and help him give his first talk in primary.  I ended up saying the whole thing.

4th of July

Happy 4th of July! It was fun to be back in HB this year. We had a fun filled day with friends and family. In the Morning we went to the parade with our neighbors. The kids loved it. M loved the princesses and ponies and CJ liked the rock and roll bands.

Then we had the yummiest ribs and tri tip steak of our lives at our friends the Hicksons. It was the best BBQ we've ever been to. We ate like kings. CJ and M especially loved the gigantic pixie sticks they got at the BBQ. Little did they know JB dumped out 99% of them into the sink. That would be scary to see CJ on a sugar high like that! Later that night we had another BBQ with the Baltzers, JB's parents and the Moody family. We walked down and watched fireworks at the beach. We love the 4th of July. It is definitely one of our favorite holidays.

JB and I think CJ has a little crush on Savi, our neighbor.
Party of Five.  This was baby's first 4th of July.
The parade.
M loved the ponies.
Baby was an angel all day.  She never cried.
One of the cool floats.
This year, 2009, Huntington Beach turned 100 years old.

Huge Pixie Sticks.  The kids were in heaven.
The fam.
Best buddies.  Baby girl's first fireworks show.
CJ was thoroughly entertained.
